Šibenik was first mentioned in the 11^th ct in the document written by the king Petar Krešimir IV and is known as the oldest Croatian town. It has the pearl of Dalmatia and Croatia hidden inside. That’s the Cathedral of St James from the 15^th ct, built for 105 years. Šibenik experienced very hard times during its history, but the people’s will for life and mentality of its people has always given the strength to go on and keep fighting.
